In 2022 we are offering our members plenty of Professional Development opportunities. Read below to find out more.

Semester One

Iron Duke Partners Mock Interviews (Sem 1 flagship PD event)
Members can apply to attend a mock interview. The interviews will be run by a policy professional. At the end of the interview, you will get feedback on your interview and how to improve, ready for your next interview experience.

How to Interview Workshop
In the lead up to the mock interviews, this workshop will teach interview techniques. This is open to those who are accepted into Mock Interviews and other members too.

CV Workshop
In time for internship and grad job application season, learn how to create an effective CV.

Linkedin Workshop
Linkedin is a great resource to use as a student, especially on a job hunt. At this workshop, you will learn how to create a compelling profile and use some of Linkedin’s functions.

Alumni & Networking Evening
At this event, you will hear from past PPC executives who now work in policy or other sectors and their stories. Following this panel and questions, we will move to food and networking.

Semester Two

Mentorship Programme (Sem 2 flagship PD event)
This programme is our most extensive offering for Professional Development in 2022. In this programme, policy professionals mentor student/s who are working towards a career in the policy sector.
