The University of Auckland Public Policy Club is excited to present their Speaker Series on Auckland Transport in association with Russell McVeagh and MartinJenkins

Auckland Transport is primarily responsible for delivering a transport system that best meets the needs of Aucklanders, but there is no doubt that the unprecedented growth of the City has been underestimated and dramatic interventions are needed. So, for example, what are the opportunities for public-private partnerships if we are to become the world’s most livable city?

Speakers:
– Dr David Warburton, CEO of Auckland Transport
– Craig Shrive, Partner, Russell McVeagh,
– Michael Mills, Executive Director MartinJenkins

This event was open to all students, faculty members and professionals in the field. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with a number of lawyers and policy leaders interested in this issue and to see how the public sector and commercial worlds can come together to solve Auckland’s biggest development issues.

Co-President Luke Sweeney has written an article on the key take-home points of the night here.

When: Wednesday June 14 at 5pm – 7 pm

Where: Russell McVeagh, Vero Centre, 48 Shortland Street, Auckland

Drinks and nibbles were provided.
